Is it just me or have expensive designer frocks suddenly become obscenely expensive? During one of my recent shopping sojourns to Saks Fifth Avenue, everything I eyeballed had a price tag approaching four digits. To be fair, I was “accidentally” browsing the store’s 3rd floor, which only displays threads from high-end designers such as Rachel Roy – a coveted California-based label and one of my unfulfilled quests.

Clearly there must be a god, because I just learned that Rachel Roy is holding a massive sample sale at their Manhattan showroom, starting tomorrow!
